Call Transfer
To... From the base... From a cordless handset...
transfer a call
1. Press

to put
the call on hold.

2. Select the station you want to transfer the call to, or select
All
to page all the stations at the same time.
When the other station accepts the call, you’ll be
disconnected but you can join the call again.

Privacy Mode
♦With a call in progress, pres s
MEnu/sElEcT
twice to activate Privac y mode. As
long as privacy mode is on, you’ll see a in the display, and no other stations
can join your call.
♦Privacy mode turns off automat ically when you hang up or put t he call on
hold; you can also turn it off by pres sing
MEnu/sElEcT
twice.
♦To use privacy mode during a conference ca ll, wait until a ll stations have
joined the call before turn ing privacy mode on. If a s tation disconnect s, that
station cannot rejoin the ca ll as long as privacy mode re mains on.
Intercom
♦Whenever the phone is in standby, you can ma ke an intercom call b etween
stations without using the phone li ne.
♦You can make an intercom call from any s tation, but only two stati ons can
be in an intercom call at any ti me.
♦If an outside call comes in dur ing an intercom page, the phone c ancels the
page so you can answer the incomi ng call.
♦If an outside call comes in dur ing an intercom cal l, press
sPEakEr
on the base
or
Talk/Flash
on the handset to hang up the intercom c all and answer t he
outside call.
