on a phone line may result in device s
not ringing in response to an i ncoming
call. In most but not all are as, the sum
of RENs should not exceed ve (5.0). To
be certain of the number of de vices that
may be connected to a line, as dete rmined
by the total RENs, contact t he telephone

represented by ## are the REN wit hout a
decimal point (e.g., 03 is a REN of 0. 3).
If this equipment causes har m to the tele-
