code. If you enter it incorrectly 3 ti mes, the system hang s up and returns to
standby.
3. T he system announces t he time, number of
messages in memory, and a help prompt. It
beeps to indicate it's waiting for a com mand.
4. W hen you hear beeping, ente r a 2-digit
command from the chart. Ente r both digits
within 2 seconds or the entr y times out.

General problems Possible solutions
No stations can make or
receive calls.
xCheck the telephone cord connection.
xDisconnect the base AC adapter for a few
minutes; then reconnect it.
A handset can’t make or
receive calls. xMove the handset closer to the base.
A station can make calls,
but it won’t ring.
xMake sure the ringer is turned on.
xMake sure Silent Mode is turned off (see page 12).
A handset is not working. xCharge the battery for 15-20 hours.
xCheck the battery connection.
The phone keeps ringing
when I answer on an
extension.
xYou may have to change the line mode. Contact
Customer Service for instructions.
Audio issues Possible solutions
Callers sound
weak or soft.
xMove the handset closer to the base or Range Extender.
xKeep the handset’s battery fully charged.
