Adjusting the Exposure (EV Compensation)

You can manually adjust the exposure determined by the ViviCam 8400. Use this mode when the proper exposure cannot be obtained, for example, when the contrast (difference between light and dark) between the subject and the background is extremely large. The EV compensation can be adjusted over a range of –2.0EV to +2.0EV.

1.Rotate the mode dial to P , SCENE , Tv , Av or M.

2.Press the button to turn on the power.

3.Press T/ .

4.Use W or X to set the range of EV compensation to a value between –2.0EV and +2.0EV.

5.To exit from the menu, press the button.
