Mode Dial

You can select from seven modes and setup mode according to conditions to achieve the desired effect.

		Mode	Description
1.		Power button	Press to turn on/off the power.
2.	P	Program	Select this mode to permit the shutter speed and aperture
			to be set automatically.
3.	A	Auto	Select this mode to adjust point-and-shoot action.
4.		Video	Select this mode to record video clips.
5.		Setup	Select this mode to adjust VIVICAM 8400 settings.
6.	M	Manual	Select this mode to permit full manual control over exposure,
			aperture and other settings.
7.	Av	Aperture priority	Select this mode to specify the aperture value while the ViviCam 8400
			sets the corresponding shutter speed.
8.	Tv	Shutter speed priority	Select this mode to specify the shutter speed while the ViviCam 8400
			sets the corresponding aperture.
9.	SCENE	SCENE	Point-and-shoot simplicity when taking pictures under 4 special
			conditions.
