9. Unscrew the thermostat from the manifold pipe (Figs. 33, 34, & 35).

10.Replace thermostat mounting block. Place pipe dope on the threaded end of the new thermostat mounting block to be installed onto the unit.

11.Install the new thermostat by reversing Steps 1 through 9 above.

NOTE: Do not kink the new capillary line when feeding it through the oven cavity. The capillary wire may be wrapped loosely around the gas tube to keep the wire from laying detached in the top section burner area. Also, using a soap and water solution, the thermostat must be tested for gas leak after being installed.
