●Check for fuel leaks or gasoline fumes in the boat.
●Check for fuel leakage from the fuel system.
●Check the fuel tank and fuel lines for cracks, swellings, or other damages.

Check the fuel filter
Check that the fuel filter is clean and free of water. If any water is found in the fuel, or if a significant amount of debris is found, the fuel tank should be checked and cleaned by a Yamaha dealer.

Controls●Move the tiller handle fully to the left and right to make sure operation is smooth.
●Turn the throttle grip from the fully closed to the fully open position. Make sure that it turns smoothly and that it completely re- turns to the fully closed position.
●Look for loose or damaged connections of
the throttle and shift cables.
