SPEAKER PLACEMENT

The recommended speaker configuration, the seven-speaker configuration, will require three speaker pairs: main speakers, front speakers, and rear speakers, plus a center speaker. When you place these speakers, refer to the following:

Front R

Front L

Main R

Main L

Center

Rear R

Rear L

Main: In normal position. (The position of a standard stereo speaker setup)

Front: Placed much further apart than the Main speakers, facing slightly inwards. Nearly six feet (approx. 1.8 m) up from the floor.

Center: Precisely between the main speakers. (To avoid interference with TV sets, use a magnetically shielded speaker.) When two center speakers are used, place these to the right and left of your TV set or video monitor.

Rear: Behind your listening position, facing slightly inward. Nearly six feet (approx. 1.8 m) up from the floor.
