Basic Procedures

Basic procedures include waking up the display, entering your password, and logging on/logging off the remote user interface.

Waking up the Display

To wake up the System Manager/Coordinator when its display is dark, simply press your finger to the display. The Home screen appears (Figure 5 on page 13). The dis- play remains active until 10 minutes of no user activity. After 10 minutes, you are logged off automatically and the Home screen returns. Then, after another 5 minutes of inactivity, the screen goes to sleep (goes dark).

Entering Your Password

To enter your password:

1.Use the number keypad on the display to enter your four digit password (Figure 9). The password screen displays whenever you attempt an operation that requires user authentication. Asterisks appear as you select each number. If you type an incorrect number, press Clear, then reenter the full password.
