4.While pulling the throttle lever (OP4,1,2), set the ignition switch to the “I (START)” position and release the throttle. Then the throttle lever is in to the “start position”. (OP4)

5.While holding the unit firmly, pull out the starter rope quickly until engine fires. (OP5)
IMPORTANT
•Avoid pulling the rope to its end or returning it by releasing the knob. Such actions can cause starter failures.
6.Move the choke lever downward to open the choke. And restart the engine. (OP3)
7.Allow the engine to warm up for a several minutes before starting operation.
NOTE
1.When restarting the engine immediately after stopping it, leave the choke open.
2.Overchoking can make the engine hard to start due to excess fuel. When the engine failed to start after several attempts, open the choke and repeat pulling the rope, or remove the spark plug and dry it.
■STOPPING ENGINE
1.Release the throttle lever and run the engine for a half minute.
2.Shift the ignition switch to the “O (STOP)” position. (OP4)
4.Tout en ramenant la manette de commande des gaz vers vous, commutez l’interrupteur d’allumage en position “I (START)”, puis relâchez la manette.Puis positionnez la manette des gaz en “position de démarrage”. (OP4)

5.Tout en maintenant fermement la machine, tirer la poignée de démarrage (OP5).
IMPORTANT
•Eviter de tirer à fond sur la corde de démarrage ou de relâcher brutalement la poignée. Ces opérations risquent d’endommager le système de démarrage.
6.Ramener le levier du starter vers le bas pour le remettre en position ouverte. Et redémarrer le moteur (OP3).
7.Laisser le moteur chauffer pendant plusieurs minutes avant de commencer à travailler.
REMARQUE
1.Pour redémarrer le moteur aussitôt après l’avoir arrêté, laisser le starter en position ouverte.
2.Trop tirer sur le starter risque de rendre le moteur difficile à démarrer à cause de l’excès de carburant. Si le moteur refuse de démarrer après plusieurs tentatives infructueuses, placer le starter en position ouverte et tirer à nouveau plusieurs fois la corde de démarrage ou enlever et sécher la bougie.
■ARRET DU MOTEUR
1.Relâcher la manette d’accélérateur et laisser tourner le moteur pendant encore 30 secondes.
2.Placer le bouton de contact sur “(Arrêt) O”. (OP4)
IMPORTANT
•Except for an emergency, avoid stopping the engine while pulling the throttle lever.
IMPORTANT
•Sauf en cas d’urgence, ne jamais couper le contact lorsqu’on accélére.
