Start Port

Enter a port number in this field.

Number

To forward only one port, enter the port number again in the End Port Number

 

field.

 

To forward a series of ports, enter the start port number here and the end port

 

number in the End Port Number field.

 

 

End Port Number

Enter a port number in this field.

 

To forward only one port, enter the port number again in the Start Port Number

 

field above and then enter it again in this field.

 

To forward a series of ports, enter the last port number in a series that begins with

 

the port number in the Start Port Number field above.

 

 

Local IP Address

Enter the inside IP address of the server in this field.

 

 

Virtual Server Listing

 

 

Rule

This is the rule’s index number.

 

 

Application

This is a service’s name.

 

 

Protocol

This is the IP port.

 

 

Start Port

This is the first port number that identifies a service.

 

 

End Port

This is the last port number that identifies a service.

 

 

Local IP Address

This is the server’s IP address.

 

 

SAVE

Click this to save your changes.

 

 

DELETE

Click this to remove the rule.

 

 

BACK

Click this to return to the previous screen without saving.

 

 

CANCEL

Click this to restore your previously saved settings.

 

 

10.5 The IP Address Mapping Screen

Configure this screen if you have multiple IP addresses from your ISP and you want to map them to private IP addresses on your LAN.

"The Address Mapping screen is available only when you select Multiple for the Number of IPs in the NAT screen.

Ordering your rules is important because the ZyXEL Device applies the rules in the order that you specify. When a rule matches the current packet, the ZyXEL Device takes the corresponding action and the remaining rules are ignored.
