TERMINOLOGÍA DE LA LAVADORA A PRESIÓN

psi: (Pounds per Square Inch) Libras por pulgada cuadrada. Es la unidad de medida para la presión del agua. También usada para la presión del aire, presión hidráulica, etc.

GPM: (Gallons per Minute). Galones por minuto. Es la unidad de medida para el flujo promedio del agua .

CU: (Cleaning Units). Unidades de limpieza. GPM multiplicadas por psi.

Modo de derivación: Trabajando en modo de derivación, la bomba está recirculando el agua debido a que el gatillo de la pistola rociadora no se encuentra presionado. Si la unidad queda en modo de derivación por más de dos (2) minutos, se elevará la temperatura del agua a niveles que podrian dañar los componentes internos de la bomba. Cualquier daño debido a dichas causas no quedará cubierto por la garantía.

NO PERMITA que su unidad funcione en modo de derivación (bypass) por más de dos minutos en cualquier circunstancia. El

recalentamiento le ocasionará daños a la bomba.

Válvula térmica de seguridad: Para prevenir daños extremos, las bombas están equipadas con una válvula térmica de seguridad. Dicha válvula se abrirá cuando la temperatura interior de la bomba se eleve demasiado.Esta válvula liberará un chorro de agua, para reducir la temperatura interior de la bomba. Inmediatamente después que esto ocurra la válvula se cerrará.

Sistema de inyección de productos químicos: Mezcla los productos limpiadores o los solventes de limpieza con el agua presurizada, para mejorar la efectividad de la limpieza.

Suministro de agua: Todas las lavadoras a presión deben tener un suministro de agua. Los requerimientos mínimos para el suministro del agua son 20 psi y 22,7 litros (5 galones) por minuto.

REGULACIÓN DE LA PRESIÓN

Los valores de calibrado de la presión vienen regulados de fábrica, con el objeto de lograr la presión óptima para la limpieza. Si usted necesitase reducir la presión, ello podrá lograrse merced a los siguientes métodos:

1.Retírese de la superficie que ha de limpiarse. Cuanto más alejado usted se encuentre de la misma, menor presión habrá sobre la superficie que deberá limpiar.

2.Cambie a la boquilla de 40° - Blanco, esta boquilla entrega un chorro menos potente de agua y un patrón de rociado más amplio.

NO intente incrementar la presión de la bomba. Un calibrado superior al que trae de fábrica puede dañar la bomba.

3.Ajuste el regulador de presión a la bomba. Para reducir la presión, gire la perilla del regulador de presión en sentido antihorario. Para identificar el regulador de presión, refiérase a las ilustraciones. Una vez finalizado de usar su lavadora a presión, retorne el regulador a su posición inicial, girándolo en sentido horario

No intente sobrepasar la posición del tope de la perilla reguladora de presión. Hacerlo

dañará la bomba.
