5-2 FUNCTIONS

5-2-l STATOR

-l-he stator consists of a laminated silicon steel sheet core, copper wire which winds the core, and lead wires which de- liver the power. The copper wire is wound into the main coil, sub (auxiliary) coil, and DC coil. AC output power is taken from the main coil, and DC output power from the DC coil. The outside diameters and laminated core thicknesses of various models are as shown below.
