4.2.4. Location

The security instructions indicate that it is necessary to leave a minimum of 25 cm around the equipment for ventilation (2 UPS devices in parallel operation should be set 50 cm apart from each other. See Fig.14 and 15.) Nevertheless, we recom- mend to leave another 75 cm additional space to facilitate maintenance of the equipment or technical service intervention in event of a breakdown.

The UPS may be put in any place as long as the safety instruction requirements are fulfiled and the weights are considered as indicated in table 5 and 6.

The UPS includes 2 leveling elements (PB) located near the front castors, which serve to immobilise the unit once it is in place.

Open the front door (PF) of the cabinet and proceed as follows:

By hand, loosen the leveling elements (PB) by turning them anti-clockwise until they touch the floor. Then, using a spanner, continue loosening until the castors are raised off the floor by a maximum 0.5 cm, ensuring that it is level.

Close the door (PF).
