Function Keys/Hot Keys

The top row of the keys on the keyboard are the function keys: F1 to F12 (see Figure 8 for the location of the function keys). Function keys are multi-purpose keys that perform functions defined by individual programs.

Hot key functions are assigned to the F1 to F12 keys by your computer. When the Mobile Utility software is installed on your computer, the functions defined in Table 10 are available to the user. Refer to Appendix A for more information on the Mobile Utility.
