Installing and Replacing Mobile Board Components

Attaching the Lid/LCD

This section describes how to attach the lid/LCD to the chassis and connect the associated cables. See Figure 18 and follow these steps:

1.Observe the precautions in "Before You Begin" on page 35.

2.Place the Lid/LCD hinges over the matching holes in the chassis. Note that each hinge has an alignment pin. Attach the hinges (Figure 18, A) with two screws as shown in the figure.

3.Connect the LCD video cable connector (Figure 18, C) to the LVDS connector (Figure 18, D) on the Mobile Board.

4.Route the three antenna cables (Figure 18, E) under the C-plate to the Mobile Board. These cables will be connected in a later section.
