Installing an Optical Disk Drive
To install an optical disk drive in the chassis, see Figure 20 and follow these steps:
1.Observe the precautions in "Before You Begin" on page 35.
2.Attach the disk drive mounting bracket (Figure 20, A) to the rear of the optical disk drive with two screws (Figure 20, B) as shown.
3.Snap the bezel (Figure 20, C) onto the front of the optical disk drive.
NOTE
If there is a bezel already attached to the front of the optical disk drive, remove it. You must replace it with the bezel that was included with your chassis for a proper fit.
4.Insert the optical disk drive into the chassis opening as shown in the figure so that it engages the Mobile Board connector. Secure the optical disk drive to the chassis with a screw (Figure 20, D) as shown in the figure.
