into the socket, turn the screw 180 degrees clock-wise to secure the CPU in the socket. Note that the slot on the screw aligns with the lock and unlock legend on the case of the CPU socket.

Caution: Please refer to the CPU installation instruction in Appendix A prior to inserting the CPU as the CPU and socket can be easily damaged.

4.6.2.2PCI Express (x16)

The platform has one 16 lane PCI Express Graphics slot and supports either x1 or x16 modes. The slot is wired “lane reversed” which connects the Mobile Intel® 915GME Express Chipset lanes 0 through 15 to lanes 15 through 0 on the slot. The Mobile Intel® 915GME Express Chipset will internally un-reverse this wiring since its CFG9 power-on strap is tied low.
