5.5. Indicators and Messages

The tables on the following pages indicate how to respond to problems indicated by the con- trol panel symbolic indicators and messages.

The printer has run low on toner. The toner should be replaced as

soon as possible.

Lit

Install a new toner kit. See Section 4.1.

Fast

There is a paper jam. There is possibility that paper may be jammed

at the point indicated by flash ng, open and remove any jammed

Slow

The paper has run out in the paper cassette or multi-purpose tray.
