Note: Remember to disconnect the touch pad cable before lifting up the top cover.

Removing the Touch Pad

To remove the touch pad, first remove the top cover (see Removing the Top Cover), then perform the following steps:

1.On the other side of the top cover unscrew the screws on the Touch Pad assembly as shown in Fig. 36 and remove the touch pad assembly from the palm rest.
