Removing the optical disk drive

To remove the ODD, first remove the keyboard (see Removing the Keyboard), then perform the following steps:

1. Remove the screws retaining the optical drive connector as shown in Fig. 11

2. Remove the optical drive out from the base unit as shown in Fig. 12
