How to install a 550-sheet drawer

Your printer supports one optional drawer that lets you load up to 550 sheets of paper.

CAUTION: If you are installing a 550-sheet drawer after setting up the printer, turn the printer off, and unplug the power cord before continuing.

1Unpack the 550-sheet drawer, and remove any packing material.

2Place the drawer in the location you have chosen for your printer.

3Align the holes in the printer with the positioning posts on the 550-sheet drawer, and lower the printer into place.

4See Recognizing installed options.

Recognizing installed options

After the printer is turned on, the printer driver should automatically recognize an option you installed. If it does not, you can add it manually.

Note: If you have not installed your printer driver yet, follow the appropriate instructions under Software and network tasks. After you have installed a printer driver, return here to complete these instructions.

1Click Start Æ Settings Æ Printers.

2Select the printers icon.
