7. Adjusting the Near-end Sensor

Use the following procedure to adjust the near-end sensor so it is compatible with the size of roll paper you are using.

1Open the printer cover.

2Determine the diameter of the roll paper you are using and find the required setting in the table below.

3Insert the tip of a ballpoint pen or similar object into the hole of the adjuster, and then push and side the adjuster to the desired setting.

When changing the setting, make sure that the position of the hole is aligned with the alignment mark indicated by the arrow.
