Structure

The Power Modules Status Structure is read with one Query: CSTS? <ch>. The returned status contains the Events Register, Warnings Register, Output Register, Faults Register, Status Register and Error Code.

The Events Register

PON

ERR

FLT

WRN

OPC

PON

set when a Power On event occurs.

CMD

set when the Power Module detected an error while communicating with

the XMP 2600 Main Controller..

OUT

the Output Register had a bit changed.

ERR

set when an Error event occurred.

FLT

the Faults Register had a bit changed.

WRN

the Warnings Register had a bit changed.

OPC

Operation Complete - the Power Module finished processing the XMP

2600 Main Controller Command. For commands that effect the output of

the Power Module, the OPC flag is set when the output settled to within

2% of full scale from the programmed value.

The Events Register shows events that occurred in the Power Module. Events are changes in the Power Module’s status. The register is cleared when read.

The Warnings Register

0

CONF

FOLD

V / C

LC

LV

HC

HV

CONF

the Confidence Test (BIT) found errors.

FOLD

Foldback is active.

V / C

Voltage (0) or Current (1) Mode.

LC

Low Current Window Warning.

LV

Low Voltage Window Warning.

HC

High Current Window Warning.

HV

High Voltage Window Warning.

The Warnings Register shows the current state of the Power Module.
