Use the show diag slot command to determine which type of port adapter is installed on a VIP2 in your system. Specific port adapter information is displayed, as shown in the following example. Two HSSI port adapters are in port adapter slots (bays) 0 and 1, on a VIP2 in interface processor slot 1:
