Internet Authentication

Service (IAS) Server

NOTE: Windows Server 2000 and 2003 support the IAS server feature.

To install an IAS server:

1.Click the Start button of your Windows computer.

2.Click Add or Remove Programs.

3.Click Add/Remove Windows Components.

4.In the Components section, click Networking Services. Click Details.

Select Internet Authentication Service. Click OK. Then click Next.

5.Click the Start button of your Windows computer.

6.Click Settings.

7.Click Control Panel.

8.Double-clickAdministrative Tools.

9.Click Internet Authentication Service.

10.Right-click Remote Access Policies, and click New Remote Access Policy.
