Viewing the Policy Threshold Values

There are seven parameters that determine the status of a switch:

Number of faulty ports

Missing GBICs (i.e., Small Form Factor Pluggable transceivers)

Power supply status

Temperature in enclosure

Fan speed

Port status

sgroup ISL status

Only one parameter needs to pass the MARGINAL or DOWN threshold to change the overall status of the switch.

Do not modify these parameters unless so notified by EMC Customer Service.

To view the switchStatusPolicy threshold values:

1.Log in to the switch as the admin user.

2.At the command line, enter the following command:

switch:admin> switchStatusPolicyShow

The current overall switch status policy parameters:
