Enabling the Track Changes Feature
Displaying Whether Track Changes is Enabled
To enable the track changes feature:
1.Log in to the switch as the admin user.
2.At the command line, enter the following command: trackChangesSet 1
A prompt is displayed verifying that the track changes feature is on. The output from the track changes feature is dumped to the error log for the switch. Use the errdump command or errshow command to view the error log.
Trackable changes are:
•Successful login
•Unsuccessful login
•Logout
•Config file change from task
•Track changes on
•Track changes off
Items in the error log created from the Track changes feature are labeled Error TRACK. For example:

To display the status of the track changes feature:
1.Log in to the switch as the admin user.
2.At the command line, enter the following command: trackChangesShow
The status of the track changes feature is displayed as either on or off. This also displays whether the track changes feature is configured to send SNMP traps. For example:
switch:admin> trackchangesshow Track changes status: ON
Track changes generate SNMP-TRAP: NO
