9-pin D connector

Connect any audio/video device using a serial cable with a

9-pin D connector to any one of the COM ports on the rear panel of an IPL T S Series interface.

NIPL T S1 supports RS-232 only.

NWith RS-485 Data + can connect to pin 7 or 8. Data - can connect to pin 2 or 3.

Captive screw connector

The IPL T S2 has two COM ports with captive screw connectors that are common to the two 9-pin D connectors. Only one connector can be used for each COM port. If you use a COM port captive screw connector, its 9-pin D port is not accessible.
