Operation, cont’d

To increase or decrease the audio volume of the selected output (audio versions only):

Press the Volume increment () or decrement () buttons until the desired sound level is reached. To increase/decrease input volume levels, press and hold the input button while adjusting the volume levels.

To mute/un-mute the audio (audio versions only):

To mute the last selected audio output, press the Mute button. The LED over the Mute button will light to indicate that Mute is active and the audio will be muted. To un-mute the audio, press the Mute button again. The LED will go out and the audio will be un-muted.

Selecting the switching level (audio versions only)

The switcher has three different switching levels, selectable from the front panel; level 1 is audio follows video, level 2 is video with no audio, and level 3 is audio only. The currently selected level is indicated on the front panel by the video and audio LEDs adjacent to the Level Select button. If both the video and audio LEDs are lit, the switcher is set for level 1 switching. If only the video LED is lit, the switcher is set for level 2 switching. If only the audio LED is lit, the switcher is set for level 3 switching.

Switching only affects the level(s) indicated. If level 2 is indicated, only the video will be switched. If level 3 is indicated, only the audio will be switched.

To toggle between switching levels, press Level Select button repeatedly until the desired level is indicated.

Reset to factory default

To restore input/output configurations, volume levels, and RS-232 settings to factory default, press the Input 1 and Input 5 buttons at the same time.
