VIS Enable
The current state of VIS (Vertical Interval Switching) is indicated by the presence or absence of a checkmark next to VIS Enable on the Options menu. If a checkmark appears, VIS is enabled. If a check mark does not appear, VIS is disabled. To toggle VIS on or off, click VIS Enable with your mouse pointer.
Vertical interval switching requires a Genlock signal from a blackburst generator or similar device.
Enable Response
The current state of the view response option is indicated by the presence or absence of a checkmark next to Enable Response on the Options menu. If a check mark appears, you will be able to view responses from the switcher when using terminal communication (see Using Terminal Comm below). If a checkmark does not appear, you will not be able to view responses from the switcher. To toggle the view response option on or off, click Enable Response with your mouse pointer.
Using Terminal Comm
The Terminal window is used to view ICS100 commands as they are sent to the switcher, and to view responses as they are received from the switcher. To use the Terminal window, click on Terminal Comm from the Options menu. The Terminal window opens.
In addition to viewing commands that are sent and received from the ICS100 Control Program, the Terminal window also allows you to save macro commands or a communication session and recall it for repeated or future use. Refer to ICS100 Control Program Help for additional information on terminal communication.
Resetting the unit
1.From the Options menu, click on Reset Unit. A pullout menu appears.
2.To partially reset the switcher (restore all parameters to factory default, except input volume settings) select Partial Reset from the pull out menu.
3.To fully reset the switcher (restore all parameters to factory default) select Full Reset from the pull out menu.
