Discrete I/O Points and IEC Compliant Data Mapping

Overview

The 170AMM11030 base returns 16 discrete input bits to the processor in one 16-

bit word (3x). The input points are field wired to row 2 of the base. The processor

sends 8 discrete output bits to the base as a single 16-bit word (4x). The output

points are field wired to row 3.
