8 Configuring and Controlling the VP-725XLA

This section describes how to configure and control the VP-725XLAvia the:

OSD menu (see section 8.1)

LCD display (see section 8.2)

Infrared remote control transmitter (see section 8.3)

You can also control the VP-725XLAvia the Ethernet (see section 8.4)

8.1 Configuring the VP-725XLA via the OSD MENU Screens

The OSD superimposes a menu on the screen from which you can configure and control each input signal on your VP-725XLA, using the MENU, ENTER, -, +, UP and DOWN OSD buttons on the front panel and the remote transmitter.

To use the OSD menus:

1.Select the desired input signal.

2.Use the menu buttons as follows:

Press the MENU front panel ON button or the MENU key on the infrared remote control transmitter (see section 8.3) to display the main MENU screen1, which displays eight interactive icons2 (see Figure 12)

Press the MENU front panel OSD button or the MENU key on the infrared remote control transmitter to move to the previous level in the OSD screen (Esc)

Press the + and – buttons to select menu icons and then press ENTER

Use + and – buttons to increase and decrease the (numerical) rate respectively
