Connecting the VP-725XLA Presentation Switcher / Scaler

2.Connect one or more of the following balanced stereo audio sources1:

UXGA sources 1 to 4 to the UXGA AUDIO INPUT terminal block connectors (from 1 to 4)

CV sources 1 to 4 to the CV AUDIO INPUT terminal block connectors (from 1 to 4)

s-Video sources 1 to 4 to the YC AUDIO INPUT terminal block connectors (from 1 to 4)

Component video/ RGB sources 1 to 4 to the COMP AUDIO INPUT terminal block connectors (from 1 to 4)

3.Connect a microphone to the Mic IN XLR connector1, and push in or release the Dyn / Con switch as appropriate (see item 13 in Table 2).

4.Connect the CV OUT BNC connector and the UXGA OUT 15-pin HD connector to the respective video inputs on a projector.

Connect the respective AUDIO OUTPUT terminal block connectors (CV and UXGA) to balanced audio acceptors (for example, audio amplifiers1).

5.Connect the COMP OUTPUT BNC connectors: G/Y, B/Pb, and R/Pr to the respective component video inputs on an LCD display.

6.Connect up to three SCALED OUTPUTS, as follows:

Connect the RGBHV connectors (H, V, R/Pr, G/Y, and B/Pb) to the RGBHV acceptor (for example, a projector)

Connect the HDMI connector to the HDMI acceptor (for example, an LCD display)

Connect the UXGA connector to the UXGA acceptor1

7.Connect the MASTER OUT terminal block connector to the balanced audio input on the audio amplifier, and route the audio input (corresponding to the converted video input) to the MASTER OUT1.

8.Connect the power cord1,2.

9.Connect a PC (optional), see section 6.3.

10.Connect the Ethernet port (optional), see section 6.4.
