Powered Zone 2 Setting

If you’ve connected your Zone 2 speakers to the AV receiver, as explained in “Connecting Your Zone 2 Speakers Directly to the AV receiver” on page 101, you must set the Powered Zone 2 setting to Act (Activated).

Notes:

When Act is selected and Zone 2 turned on, the Zone 2 speakers connected to the ZONE 2 L/R speaker termi- nals output sound, but the surround back speakers con- nected to the SURR BACK L/R speaker terminals do not. When Act is selected and Zone 2 turned off, the surround back speakers output sound as normal.

On the TX-SR875, Powered Zone 2 cannot be used if the Speaker Type is set to Bi-Amp or BTL (page 45).

This procedure can also be performed on the AV receiver by using its [SETUP], [ENTER], and arrow

buttons.
