Learning Commands

The AV receiver’s remote controller can learn the com- mands of other remote controllers. By transmitting, for example, the Play command from your CD player’s remote controller, the remote controller can learn it, and then transmit the exact same command when its Play

[ ] button is pressed in the CD remote mode. This is useful when you’ve entered the appropriate

Notes:

• The following buttons cannot learn new commands:

REMOTE MODE, MACRO [1], [2], [3], TV [ ], TV [INPUT], TV CH [+]/[–], TV VOL []/[ ], Light.

The remote controller can learn approximately 70 to

 

90 commands, although this will be less if commands

 

that use a lot of memory are learned.
