7. Power-up your APC KVM Switch unit first, then all attached servers.

The APC KVM Switch and all attached servers should be powered-down before servicing the unit. Always disconnect the power cord from the electrical socket.

2.2Rack Mount Installation

1.Remove the side screws that secure the cover on your KVM Switch.

2.Line up the holes in the side brackets with the screw holes in the side of the KVM Switch unit.

3.Using the previously removed screws, thread one through each of the holes in the sides of the rack mount brackets and into the KVM Switch cover. Tighten them securely.
