32-Bit Data Transfer

Floppy Configuration
This option allows the user to confi gure the settings for the Floppy Drives installed in the system.
Floppy A/Floppy B
Move the cursor to these fi elds via up and down arrow keys to select the fl oppy type. The options are Disabled, 360 KB 5 1/4", 1.2 MB 5 1/4", 720 KB 3½", 1.44 MB 3½”, and 2.88 MB 3½".
PCI/PnP Configuration
This feature allows the user to set the PCI/PnP confi gurations for the following items:
Clear NVRAM
Select Yes to clear NVRAM during system boot. The options are Yes and No.
Plug & Play OS
Select Yes to allow the OS to confi gure Plug & Play devices. (*This is not required for system boot if you system has an OS that supports Plug & Play.) Select No to allow the AMI BIOS to confi gure all devices in the system.
PCI Latency Timer
This option sets the latency of all PCI devices on the PCI bus. The default setting is "64." Select "32" to set the PCI latency to 32 PCI clock cycles. Select "64" to set the PCI latency to 64 PCI clock cycles. Select "96" to set the PCI latency to 96 PCI clock cycles. Select "128" to set the PCI latency to 128 PCI clock cycles. Select "160" to set the PCI latency to 160 PCI clock cycles. Select "192" to set the PCI latency to 192 PCI clock cycles. Select "224" to set the PCI latency to 224 PCI clock cycles. Select "248" to set the PCI latency to 248 PCI clock cycles.
