Tunnel Disconnect	Description
Mode Settings
Modem Control	Set whether Modem Control enables disconnect when the Modem Control pin
	is not asserted on the Serial Line. Choices are:
	 Enabled
	 Disabled (default)
Timeout	Enter the number of milliseconds a tunnel may be idle before disconnection.
	The value of zero disables the idle timeout.
Flush Serial Data	Set whether to flush the Serial Line when the Tunnel is disconnected. Choices
	are:
	 Enabled
	 Disabled (default)

To Configure Tunnel Disconnect Mode Settings

Using Web Manager

To configure the Disconnect Mode for a specific tunnel, click Tunnel in the menu and select Tunnel 1 -> Disconnect Mode.

Using the CLI

To enter the Tunnel 1 Disconnect command level: enable -> tunnel 1 -> disconnect

Using XML

Include in your file: <configgroup name=”tunnel disconnect” instance=”1”>

Modem Emulation

Some older equipment is designed to attach to a serial port and dial into a network with a modem. This equipment uses AT commands to control the connection. For compatibility with these older devices on modern networks, our product mimics the behavior of the modem.

Tunnel Modem		Description
Emulation Settings
Echo Pluses		Set whether the pluses will be echoed back during a “pause +++ pause”
		escape sequence on the Serial Line. Choices are:
		 Enabled
		 Disabled (default)
Echo Commands		Set whether characters read on the Serial Line will be echoed, while the Line
		is in Modem Command Mode. Choices are:
		 Enabled
		 Disabled (default)
Verbose Response		Set whether Modem Response Codes are sent out on the Serial Line.
		Choices are:
		 Enabled
		 Disabled (default)
