ZWithin the Port Configuration screen ensure that the Link Loss Alert is set to “Disabled”.

ZSave the settings.

ZRepeat this procedure for the other other port on each switch that forms the ring.

ZOnce this procedure has been completed for all ports forming the ring, connect the configured ports into the ring topology as shown below.
