Maintaining the FastIron LS Hardware
To display the system log, enter the following command at any CLI level:
FLS648 Switch# show log
Syslog logging: enabled (0 messages dropped, 0 flushes, 0 overruns)
Buffer logging: level ACDMEINW, 8 messages logged
level code: A=alert C=critical D=debugging M=emergency E=error I=informational N=notification W=warning
Static Log Buffer:
Dynamic Log Buffer (50 entries):
at 0 days 0 hours 2 minutes 0 seconds, level alert
Temperature 48.0 C degrees, warning level 45.0 C degrees, shutdown level 55.0 C degrees
at 0 days 0 hours 1 minutes 0 seconds, level alert
Temperature 50.0 C degrees, warning level 45.0 C degrees, shutdown level 55.0 C degrees
Changing the Temperature Warning and Shutdown Levels on the FastIron LS
The default warning temperatures and the default shutdown temperatures for the FastIron LS are as follows: For the FLS624:
-Warning temperature is 62C (exhaust side)
-Shutdown temperature is 68C (exhaust side) For the FLS648:
-Warning temperature is 58C (exhaust side)
-Shutdown temperature is 62C (exhaust side)
NOTE: These temperatures reflect the temperature of the board inside the device.
To change the temperature at which the device sends a warning, enter a command such as the following at the Privileged EXEC level of the CLI:
FLS648 Switch# temperature warning 47
Syntax: temperature warning <value>
The <value> can be 0 – 125.
The default values for the FastIron LS are as follows:
For the FLS648:
-Warning temperature is 58C (exhaust side)
-Shutdown temperature is 62C (exhaust side) For the FLS624:
-Warning temperature is 62C (exhaust side)
-Shutdown temperature is 68C (exhaust side)
NOTE: These temperatures reflect the temperature of the board inside the device. You cannot set the warning temperature to a value higher than the shutdown temperature.
