13Press the Esc key on the keyboard to exit the CD-ROM start-up screens.
14Start Windows Explorer. Your Windows Explorer may appear slightly different than here.
15Click My Computer.
16Click the Motorola CD icon (D: in the image).
17Double-click remove or remove.exe to run the Remove utility from the SURFboard VoIP Cable Modem CD-ROM. The SURFboard Cable Modem USB Driver Removal window is displayed. Be sure the USB cable is disconnected.
18Click Remove Driver.
After you remove the USB driver, re-install the USB driver following “Setting Up a USB Driver in Windows XP” on page 18. If you continue to have problems, contact your cable service provider.
