Troubleshooting

F Press [Start Printing].

A test pattern will be printed, and the message “Place Test Pattern on expo- sure glass correctly, then press [Start Scanning]” appears.

Note

❒The test pattern will be printed on A4K, B4JISL, A3L, 11”x17”L or 8/”x11”K. One of the above paper sizes should be loaded on the paper feed tray.

❒Printing the test pattern does not advance the counter.

		G Place the test pattern on the exposure glass, and press [Start Scanning].
		Note
		❒ The Auto Document Feeder (ADF) cannot be used to scan the test pattern.

	4	Make sure to place it on the exposure glass.

❒When the Auto Document Feeder (ADF) is installed on the machine, place the test pattern on the exposure glass with two or three white sheets of the same size on it.

H Press [Exit] three times.

Returning to the Previous Setting

A Press [Previous Setting] in the screen shown on step D above.

B Select the item you want to reset.

C Press [Yes], and then [Exit] three times. .
