Factory Repair

To return equipment for factory repair, call the Vanguard Networks Technical

 

Support Center at (800) 544-0062, for return authorization and instructions. When

 

you call, you will be given a Return Material Authorization (RMA) control number.

 

Mark this number clearly on the shipping container for ease of identification and

 

faster service. The RMA control number provides a convenient tracking reference

 

for both parties. Please have the following information available for each piece of

 

equipment you return:

 

• Product name and description

 

Serial number

 

Failure symptoms

Packaging

 

Data communications equipment or parts that are to be returned to Vanguard

Guidelines for

Networks for any reason must be properly packaged to prevent damage in shipment

Equipment Return

and handling.

If the original packing material and shipping container are available, reuse these items to return equipment. If these items are not available, it is your responsibility to package the contents in a manner that protects the equipment from damage during normal shipping and handling. Responsibility for damage to equipment during transit must be resolved between you and the carrier. Vanguard Networks can provide you with specific packaging instructions upon request.
