Routing User Guide	Configuring Routing

4Open a terminal window and log into the Routing Gateway software.

5Enter 3 to select “Routing Gateway” from the DICOM Gateway Menu [MAGDMENU].

6Enter 5 to select “Import Routing Rules.”

7When you are prompted to build the Routing Table, enter Y.

Ready to build the Routing Table? y// y <Enter>

8The file will be imported. If the import is successful, the following will be displayed. You will be prompted to return to the menu.

ÂIf you encounter any errors, record the information and then press Enter. You will need to correct the offending rules and repeat these steps.

Verifying Imported Rules

When new routing rules are imported it is important to double-check that the new set of rules corresponds to the intent of the end-user.

To verify imported rules

Open a terminal window and log into the Routing Gateway software.

1Enter 3 to select “Routing Gateway” from the DICOM Gateway Menu [MAGDMENU].

2Enter 10 to select “Display Routing Rules”.

3The current set of Routing Rules will be displayed:
