12.Verify if the printer is set for Thermal Transfer Mode:

a.To verify the FM4402 printer print a self-test. If the printer is not set for Thermal Transfer mode, it can be set by using the Windows drivers, Utility Software, or sending the appropriate printer commands via the host.

b.To verify the FM4602 and FM4603 printers are set to Thermal Transfer mode, switch 1 (on the back of the printer) is set to the off position.
