Quick Start Guide

Set Print Parameters

The factory settings for the printer will include a setting for print darkness for effective printing on media shipped with the printer. If the media you’ve selected for the printer was not included with the printer, the following procedure provides a print setting that will image most media. The manual’s Media Settings section provides complete details for determining the best setting for the media.

ONLINE

1.

Press the PAUSE key. This takes you to the off-line menu.

When Interface Status Off-Lineis displayed, press the

key. This

 

will take you the to the Print Parameters menu.

 

ITEM

3.Press the FEED key. Print Speed is the first parameter displayed. The Print Speed value represents a percentage of the printer’s full speed value.

Press the or CANCEL key and change the value to match the Print Speed value associated with printer model in the following table.
