15Setting up PostScript and/or PCL printing with Windows 95/98/Me

5.Select Yes to install the printer driver and printer description ﬁle for the selected connection.

The Add Printer Wizard appears.

NOTE: You may want to install the drivers using the User Software CD.

6.Specify whether you print from MS-DOS based programs, and then click Next.

If you choose Yes you will be prompted to capture a printer port before proceeding with the installation. See your Windows documentation for details.

NOTE: With the HDD option, the PostScript driver is automatically installed. Continue the instruction with step 14.

7.In the dialog box displaying lists of manufacturers and printers, click Have Disk.

8.If you are installing from the CD, type the name of the CD-ROM drive (for example, D:\), and click Browse.

To install the PostScript driver, browse to English\Prntdrvr\Ps_drvr\Win_98_ME. To install the PCL driver, browse to English\Prntdrvr\Pcl6_drvr\Win_98_ME. Make sure “Oemsetup.inf” is selected.
