59 Installing GA-1040 software and fonts

TO CONFIGURE A CONNECTION TO GA-1040IN THE LOCAL SUBNET

1.Launch Fiery Link by double-clicking its icon.

2.The Warning dialog box “No Fierys conﬁgured, please select a Fiery” appears. Click OK.

NOTE: If the Fiery is located on a different subnet an Error dialog box appears. Click OK to dismiss the dialog box, and perform an Advanced IP search (page 63), or Advanced Subnet search (page 66).

The Edit My Fiery List dialog box opens, and all GA-1040s found appear in the Available Fierys area of the dialog box.

GA-1040 name, device name (GA-1040), and IP address

NOTE: Only GA-1040s that support Fiery Link appear in the Available Fierys area.
