Configuring the MAPI address book

The Address Book Viewer automatically accesses the address book application of the default e- mail client software using the Messaging API (MAPI).

If the Address Book Viewer prompts an error message when selecting the MAPI address book, the default e-mail client software has not been defined in your computer, or the default e-mail software does not support MAPI. In this case, set the MAPI-compliant e-mail software as the default e-mail client. For instructions on how to set your e-mail application as default e-mail cli- ent, refer to the documentation or online help of your e-mail application.
